Global Orbital Launch Cadence

Orbital launch attempts worldwide each year from 2020 to 2025, with SpaceX's Falcon 9 and Falcon Heavy flights broken out as a share of the global total. Global launches roughly tripled over the period, and SpaceX went from about a fifth of all launches to more than half. Reusable boosters are the structural driver: by 2025 SpaceX alone flew more orbital missions than the rest of the world combined.

Launch Vehicles by Payload to LEO

Maximum payload to low Earth orbit for the major Western launch vehicles, on a logarithmic scale spanning small launchers (Rocket Lab Electron, Firefly Alpha) through medium and heavy lift (Falcon 9, New Glenn, Falcon Heavy) to SpaceX's in-development Starship. Bars are colored by vehicle class. Falcon 9 is shown in reusable mode; Falcon Heavy, Vulcan, and Ariane 6 in expendable mode.
